I had the brilliant idea that I should start a new blog focusing on the things I'm going to be doing during my gap year, because I've been a bit mopey and in denial about how much things have changed since I graduated, and I need to start looking at things from a different angle. But the problem with new blogs is figuring out something clever and applicable to name them. At first I was thinking about something along the lines of "Serendipity and Tea," because those are both good things that sound good together, but it doesn't really apply to a gap year blog. So, while I was musing, I pulled up Pinterest, and rediscovered a pin featuring this G. K. Chesterton quote: "An inconvenience is an adventure wrongly considered." So I started thinking (a dangerous pastime, I know,)* and I realized that I've been focusing too much on things ending, and not enough on new things beginning and new opportunities. I've never liked change, but it's a necessary part of life, and now I can go turn inconveniences into adventures. So I thought that a title taken from that quote would fit nicely, and also reflect my love of quotes and great respect for G. K. Chesterton.
See, I knew this would be a good idea; I'm feeling better already.
